A year ago I changed web sites and a lot of my posts got lost. I notice that good few of my makes are not showcased on my web site.
I know it's more like a gallery of my works and not really educational or interactive place at the moment.
Well, what can I say! This is place for me to enjoy! Hopefully there are some people who will take a sneak peak here and there and will enjoy what I do and make.

What so different is there with hand made signs or decors, some might ask! Every discount store or supermarket has seasonal signs for home and garden but it is not the same feel. I'm telling you! It's that bland factory feel. I believe they are lovely sometimes and I have some myself. Wood I use often comes from an old door, broken fence, pallets - most desirable but the most difficult to take apart. |
The plank I used for these rustic chicken wall welcoming decors I found in Curragh planes. They probably have been there for years. I love the texture of weathered wood. Old paint hardly visible.
And what did I do? I cover them with one of my favorite country cottage chicken napkins. I keep that rustic look trough and trough by using dark wax and good bit of sanding.

Follow the link to gallery if you want to see more of my rustic decors with little vases I have made of recycled wood.
