Information about me on web site is updated. Years go buy and I'm not almost ten years in Ireland but more than then years now on this isle. By the way! We just returned from another isle. The isle of Lanzarote. I know ! Again! But I like it! | Plane-spotting! One of my favorite attractions this time :) Watching planes go over your head so close that it's scary!!! Or indulging in architectural wonders of some very passionate people who embrace treasures and potential of this volcanic land of Lanzarote. |
Some amazing how to call it - a farmership here in Lanzarote. It is so hot here that even fungus wouldn't grow under your nails but farmers grow grapes and make wine!
I had to try one of them for sure the red wine from famous La Geria region. This was very fresh and light I must say.
I didn't take picture of many goats in Lanzarote but I have pic of Cesar Manrique monument. And we have done some searching on Google to verbalize experiences and bring you some info.
"The Monumento al Campesino erected by the artist César Manrique in the year 1986. It is a memorial in honour of the hard working peasant farmers of Lanzarote. lt is a rough sculpture in white building blocks made into a fantasy figure of a Lanzarote farmer and his camel. The blocks are actually empty containers formerly used to store water in. The great white sculpture with its height of 15 meters stands out on a hill against the blue sky also resisting against the heavy winds of Lanzarote."
end of quote. :)
You should spot a goat and a donkey there as well.

For me as a northerner it's fascinating and so tempting that there is no need for winter or autumn clothes. Sun sun all around!
