From beginning I thought I like more the stylish porcelain bunny pinky wreath but I kind of love the funky yellow couple wreath because it makes me smile... telling you!
Something new has hopped in into my shop today :)))
Finished two Easter wreaths for Etsy shop.

"The happy couple" and "Bunny abundance". That's how I named them. Don't laugh :)))

Go and check them out on Etsy! And drop me a line which one you like more.

THE excitement of winning something in free giveaways!!! YAY!

I'm one of those people who never win anything in giveaways. One of the reasons most likely is that I don't put much effort in participating in many.

But sometimes I do. AND sometimes I WINN stuff!

Have to confess that since I have laptop I live mostly in IT than rather in reality. Not good, but hey..

Whoever have a laptop knows that that's what it is when you have this toy. Shit happens!

Well back to what I won!

I won 100€ voucher to use in Kay's Flower School Online Courses.

Totally delighted. I was watching Kay's videos, liking her Facebook posts and noticed it on Instagram but never realised I'm not following Kay's Flower School.

So on another rainy morning I watched live Facebook and clicked away likes and answers.

AND heard my name to be insta winner. YAY!

Cool, isn't! I love floristic and I'm not that bad at it. Now I will be learning and making Floral Table Rings. You can call them wreaths for table centre pieces if you wish.

I think this course is versatile and suits decors for all seasons.
Just after I finish my cute bunny Easter wreaths for Etsy store (not from entirely fresh materials) I will start to source stuff for fresh floral arrangement.

I'm thinking to make fresh spring / Easter arrangement.

I will definitely share with you pictures and don't forget to check out
Kay's Flower School as well.

This picture on right is from my last year Easter table arrangement :) Charming, right?

Chiao for now

I'm quite proud of my web site... verbal diarrhoea

Every time I open my web site I think it looks very nice.

I know, I don't use it as much as I used to but I like how it looks. its like my guilty pleasure to open at times and just browse though my pages. Ohh I know its useless. just dead web. I gain no money or mega amount of followers but I just like how it looks. And I can go back and see those projects I really enjoyed making.

Or scroll through the seasons décor I very much like to make but still the same issue of not having enough space for crafting. Sometimes I think I should just give up and sell through all my craft stash but that's too much effort and obviously I change my mind on this.

Especially when weather is nice like today and I should just go outside and move around my pot garden and plant some tulips I left in the shed from last year.

This year I was thinking to do more photography. I know that my Nikon is good camera and I don't put much effort in leaning new tricks. I just use my vision of how I want to see the thing and I bet there are millions of tricks / skills I could learn with my camera.

Another thing I want to keep up with is cement planters. I have grown about 30 cactuses and a bunch of succulents. I have made 8 planters at the moment but I have some ideas (as always) to make other décor bits as well. But I have to keep them small. I'm running out of space in my house and patience as well. I feel too cluttered.

oou and yea, I got to start on that wedding car décor for my friend. I'm thinking tins and flowers and all that "just married" malarkey :) I think it would work out very nice. I bought a bulk of paints. And I have plywood bits. All I need is get up from sofa and do some shit!

Ciao for now
Dace

p.s these are not my best pictures taken with my nice Nikon. I have new laptop ( yay! little nice piece!) where I don't have any of my edited Nikon pictures on. I have to find some app for photo editing.

You just look at this! I'm back!

Internet is slow again but I got my footstool pictures on my PC. Just to tell you that internet services in Ireland are VERY VERY poor! Don't believe any promises.. I have not seen 3G ever on my brand new galaxy S8 not event dreaming of seeing 4G ..ha ha
Na, after a bit of rage ...
As a result from Upholstery workshop I attended a week ago I would like to present my made from scratch footstool! Thah daa!

That was a wonderful Sunday! Full of craic and learning new skills. It was organized by Aileen from Shabby.ie and Annette one true professional in this area. Follow this link and you can find out Workshop Tour 2019 and many many more ....

So now check out what I have made myself with my own hands :)

Picked fabric. Thought it to be striking pattern and retro kinda feel fabric.

Painted grey washed stain for feet. Not sure it's 100% but knowing myself there will be a moment and I'll just grab a paint and do the thing. :D

Ohh and so many things I am able to make with skills I've learned. Cannot wait for Spring and outdoors to give it a go.

Want to say it again. It was a wonderful experience! Thank you Aileen and Annette! Your enthusiasm and knowledge are priceless!

AMOK - this is the new little project I was going to start today but our internet connection is so slow that I only now just opened weebly to post some random and unnecessary content onto my website.

If to look back on last months of 2018, then the picture is as follows:

* I didn't manage to post one a month
* I have missed years biggest event for crafters which is Christmas
* I have neglected my DIY projects
* I felt overwhelmed by I MUST do this and that and post about it
* I made some new year resolutions - which is a positive thing
Let's put up some pictures from my Christmas decor this year!

And I want to show you what I have become addicted to! A few purchases from Etsy!!! Absolutely adorable art work from EVI @happyvillageartwork
Evi makes these little clay miniatures with such a detail! I am addicted and they are too cute!
Oh Oooh and I participated in Upholstery work shop and made my own foot stool. That would be a real great reason for another post, isn't? I have pictures to share, yay!
But at the moment that would be it for today as another New Years resolution was to think about myself more ( as if 24/7 is not enough!) and look after myself more. So gel nails it is!!!
