seasonal decorating - how it looks in my gaf

I am quite sure that normal people ... normal people ha ha... don't have multiple  boxes under beds with labels like "Halloween stuff", "Deers", "Easter", "X-mas lights" etc. All those labeled boxes and baskets I have are all purposed for indoor decorating as the seasons go and come.

My PC is simple piece of technology and I don't own any fancy software for editing and retouching images and sometimes I just give up and don't post anything for a while. Extent of my editing is Picasa. So I just want to try to make a decent display of my season decors I've done in my gaf.

Let's start with my current - Coastal decor.

It is not that bad with me. I only have my decorating hands on this mantle piece and a wall but as you see I can fit quite substantial amount of stuff into this small space.

Just before it was Easter bunnies everywhere
I LOVE MY TOPIARIES! This vintage look egg tree can be used every year.   Just realised I have roll of artificial grass at home!

Neutral decor with my favorite anemone picture.
 Easy on the eye, right?

Heavy season! Christmas

Last X-mas and year before. Moss is one of my favorite materials to work with. If I could or rather if it would sell I would make decors mostly with natural materials.

I have my fancy sleek camera so now I can take fancy and sleek photos! ;)
I haven't given up on making Christmas decors and trowing them into the big world, meaning Etsy.
At the moment I work away on wooden wall plaques and that kind of stuff.

Slowly and surely I'm getting over my "blue" obsession because autumn is on the doorstep with all its deep and juicy colour palette.

Fall yall!

Jees it is a long one! Almost there, almost there! Just Halloween left....

Halloween madness!
I don't celebrate Halloween but I had so many little pieces sourced and I have this board on Pinterest - Crafts to try  that I just couldn't let it go by so easy. After last years Halloween I have another box of Halloween stuff under my bed.

This post is taking ages! :)))) a year long! actually it's not all, because sometimes I have decorating rush between the seasons. I just come up with some kind of idea or I have bought a piece in TKMAXX .... again. I love their household section sooo sooo much, if only I would be rich...

At this time all decoration probably is finished, Christmas menu is thought through, presents wrapped up and waiting new owners. SOO EXCITING!

I wish you all a lovely and peace full Christmas.

Enjoy all the things you like to do this festive season!

Christmas decor is up in my house, fresh batteries have been put in all lights and most exciting part.... all presents are placed under the Christmas tree!

Even Mikesh who so dislikes photo taking looks fairly festive :DDD

There we are a little summary of my house decor this year. I started to collect all kinds of deer and stags last year and topped up few more this year.
Wreath on the front door is made of artificial greens. Ohh shame on me! I know!

After all the lovely freshly made wreaths Carol and me made last couple of years you can check out in my gallery section I finally have given up my pride and did it from artificial greenery. Ahh well, there was no time this year ;)

It turned out pretty anyway, isn't?

Happy Christmas and successful New Year!

I've noticed that I‘m very much so in habit of decorating for every event what comes around. Valentine’s Day is next and then there is Patrick’s day, Easter is after and there is Mother’s day. I suspect it’s influenced by T’is The Season times :) When Carol and I were up to game at every event. I guess we got a little bit more relaxed now ;)

I’ve made just few cute decors this year for Valentine’s. Couple scented coffee topiary trees, one made with cloves. The scent from it lingers in the air every time I pass by it. I love scent of cloves!

And another cutie. Little lamb with red rose sitting under moss heart tree.  Ohh, and I love message in the bottle!

It would be lovely addition to your kitchen table, counter or boudoir ;)

Just was thinking Lily O’Brien’s heart shaped chocolates would be perfect pairing for the Occasion.

Don’t get over commercialised this Valentines. Sometimes less is more. I’m talking about my espresso cup topiary trees ;)

xoxo

Before closing the folder "X-mas 2015" on my PC I want to make sure that I share and pin my decors I have made over this festive season.
I had some new ideas I implemented and some old favorites I upgraded and hoping that my dear customers liked them as much I liked them.

I really love pieces I made it even sounds a bit silly. I should not be getting so attached to my makings ... how I  like to call them :)

These are my shiny glittery topiary trees which would look so festive on any ones mantle or on the side table in hallway...

Follow my link to Christmas gallery to see the rest of my beauties WE made this year as not all works I display here are just the D Craft Affairs ideas.

I have a partner in crime my good friend Carol with who we are making door wreaths for our loyal customer every Christmas.

If we would have more time in between our jobs we would make more. Because they are LOVELY!  and we love making them so enjoy  the flashback of Christmas 2015

Love
Dace
