Customer might not look for cheap product but for quality piece. And real proper quality item might not just come across like one if it is priced wrong.
So what we have learned?
Do not under price yourself and your talents, and your time.
So do not to be afraid to put a price on your stuff, Dace! :))))
Because if I would be dependent of it then I would be bankrupt very soon. Like many artistic people are poor in finance side of business, forgive me my assumptions. I am perfect example.
I spend a lot of time on my makes but almost newer count it in the price of the final product. I find excuse that this is only hobby for me and indeed it is. It is very therapeutic and relaxing for me.
The tend to tell myself it's not that difficult to make. I know! But it takes a lot of time and attention to detail. It is easy for me because I know what I want to achieve with numerous layers of paint and sanding it off and off again.
p.s. don't forget to visit my Etsy shop and scroll true my makes :)
certainly it does to me :D
I have decided, only one thing at a time .... Hmm I've heard that some where before.
Of course it was me myself!
My usual struggles with my craft affairs and photo projects.
Look at this fella! staring straight at the camera! not like our cat who hates all the selfie and photography thing big time. So I've left with plants and my decors.
Our holiday is almost over. We were in Tenerife! Absolutely fantastic. I absolutely succeeded in getting great tan without flaking and rolling skin off after the first day!
Tan tablets (from heath store!), self tanning sun protection lotion plus hours in scorchingly hot sun worked wonders. I actually have a feeling that my D vitamin level has got to the very healthy level of 50 or 60 I hope.
Scrolled back and realised that I have had just one post every month ! hmmm Not good!
Don't feel like I can manage all I would love to. Not feeling great lately in all ways :(
HOLIDAYS starts now!
And I have packed my suitcase and posted last 3 sets of wine coasters on Etsy and I am closed until 12th of June.
I'm hoping to charge up and relax in Tenerife and come back in better mindset.
Few weeks ago I asked Richard to bring me out to the nature that I can test my Nikon camera who will be named soon... as you do. Everything and everyone you love needs a name. AY!
Actually I do surprise myself some time because some images I took shows exactly what I wanted to capture. I'm glad for that.
I have a question! How do you deal with millions of "i'm not sure pictures" you have taken?
That's true it's less messy hobby materially but Gosh! .... that buildup of megabytes ... gigabytes in all my electronic devices PFUUU!
Wish me luck!
P.S. little gallery of my Christmas decor this year.
A short overview of my crafters life on Instagram. Go and visit my INSTA! Everyone is welcome :)
I actually don't remember if I mentioned that I source, make and decorate my little 2 bed terraced home myself and I sometimes surprise myself of where I get inspiration. I am thirsty creative soul!
