Days are noticeably longer now and sends us into tidying and decluttering mode. Finding the right place for every craft supply, half-finished project in my craft room is tough task and even more difficult is to find that one little bit you need right now. Drawers and storage boxes, shelfs full of tins of paint and varnishes....Yea, you can find few bottles with stones for those hipster type of projects :) Etsy is opening this craft studio and I was thinking. During my hoarding times I have uncountable amount of different bits and pieces in my possession for never accomplished diy projects. I shall check out that Etsy studio and see if I can free some space and find them a useful home. Imagine, succulent in wine cork blossomed again this year! Cute and amazing! ciao Dace |

Woke up this morning with the thought that I have to write a post for my website blog as one crafter does. Christmas excitement and madness is over and done with. Everyone’s minds are busy with setting new challenges, new resolutions. Hmm… how about my list of resolutions?! I will go on with my Craft Affairs until I find the right shape and size of my venture… When I do my painting, or sanding, or picking the plank of wood, or going through my homewares for again approaching season event it’s the most relaxing thing for my head and body.
And this year I have one neat photo camera in my possession Nikon DSLR!!! Oh, so much to learn with this thing! I’m not going to evaluate how good or bad photographer I am. I will just go on and enjoy it! And I will take new and pretty photos of my signs! yay! Look, you see! Mood just cheers up when I talk about things I like to do. Earlier today I sat down at the computer twice and wrote my blog post which disappeared the moment I pressed save! Complete frustration and I just switched PC offfff. Something good probably came out of that ... I did a bit of cooking ;) Chat to you soon Dace p.s. from now on I’m writing my posts in Word At this time all decoration probably is finished, Christmas menu is thought through, presents wrapped up and waiting new owners. SOO EXCITING!
There we are a little summary of my house decor this year. I started to collect all kinds of deer and stags last year and topped up few more this year. Wreath on the front door is made of artificial greens. Ohh shame on me! I know! After all the lovely freshly made wreaths Carol and me made last couple of years you can check out in my gallery section I finally have given up my pride and did it from artificial greenery. Ahh well, there was no time this year ;) It turned out pretty anyway, isn't? Happy Christmas and successful New Year!
